Without Hope & Love we have nothing!

My name is Alexandra Jones and I had my first child at 19 years old. I chose to get married and we were together 7 years. I saw during that time God brought forth many young women in my life who were single and had a little one to raise by themselves. My heart would always go out to them and I would try to help as much as I could. I always desired to do more for them. In my heart I did not know exactly what that was until I became a single mother myself and the struggle was real. I realized taking care of all of the bills on my own was very tough at times. There was no one to turn to, and you always had to figure it out. I now understood what it was like to be in those young ladies’ shoes that were single and struggling. Although it was hard at times, God always made a way for me and my son. I took a job at a recruitment agency as a Development Manager over the Sales department which was fulfilling for me because I was able to provide jobs for single mothers who really needed help and were trying their best. Every time I got a call from a single mother employee and she told me, “thank you so much for all you have done for me”, it really fulfilled my soul. I still asked myself what else could I do to help these women.

I ended leaving that job because God gave me a better job working as a sales lady for a building company. I was a little intimated by this position because at the time I did not know much about that world at all. I knew the determination was in me to succeed and in soon God promoted me to VP of Sales of the company. My job was to sale metal buildings that were pre-engineered. I had to put together building packages from pre-construction to the completion of the building project. Then I would oversee the construction of the building as project manager until the building was completely built, and the client was satisfied.

I was on a job site one day and a contractor was talking about developing the property for apartments. I realized then that I wanted to develop low-income apartments for young mothers and provide the same kind of accommodations as someone who lives in a nice apartment. So my desire and vision is to bring this idea to fruition with the help of like-minded investors. I want to give them hope and show them love like God shows us, which is unconditional. I have learned in life sometimes we just need someone to encourage us which gives us hope and love us which gives us strength in order to become what God has called us to be. I want to provide these blessings to young women by not only providing housing, but by helping them get jobs, acquire a professional wardrobe from which they can choose to feel confident when they go on their job interview, and offer therapy programs to help them mentally, physically, and spiritually. I want to help the women who are broken, abused and have been told they would never amount to anything. I want to set up programs to help them develop the gifts that God has given them to succeed in life and thus be the best version of themselves.
